I've always thought I needed a panini maker (which I have yet to purchase) to make a great sandwich at home. Think again! I eat lunch at home most days and a plain turkey or ham and cheese sandwich can get old real quick...but add some sliced apples and a little Dijon mustard (or whatever sounds good to you), pop it in the waffle maker and oooweee! Out comes a delicious, crusty, flavorful, and warm wafflewich for lunch!
I bet your kids will love the fun way the bread comes out looking like a waffle!
I did! ;)
Don't have a panini maker? Give your waffle iron a whirl!

What a great idea! I have a super-nice waffle maker that we got as a wedding present, but I never use it! I'm totally trying this! :)
ReplyDeleteI bet Miss L will love it as much as you do! So quick and easy to turn a plain boring sandwich into something fun!
